To celebrate Computer Science Education Week and the launch of our Community Showcase within our award winning platform Python in Pieces, we’re inviting you and your school to take part in our first Python in Pieces Coding competition.

Running until 1st March the Python in Pieces coding competition makes for a great project which can be set in school or for remote learning.

Current Python in Pieces schools, can simply login and get started. If you're not currently a Python in Pieces school you can sign-up for a free 60-day trial.

How it works

Who can enter: The competition is designed for learners aged 10 – 14 and those who attend SEND provision up to the age of 18. All they need is a passion for coding and a login to Python in Pieces.

If you don’t have a login to Python in Pieces, simply request your free trial.

How to enter: To enter coders simply need to design an app or game in the free-code area and submit it to the Community Showcase which is approved by the teacher and us here at 2Simple.

Prizes: There’s no winning criteria, we just want to encourage as many learners as possible to get involved. The winner and runner ups will be chosen at random with the winning entry securing a 1 year licence to Python in Pieces for their school, plus a £25 (or the equivalent in your country) gift voucher and 2Simple goody bag, so the more entries from one school the better your chances of winning.
