Celebrating Diwali with Purple Mash

Nov. 9, 2020

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is the biggest festival in the Hindu calendar and is celebrated in October or November each year. This year celebrations fall on Saturday 14th November. Here at 2Simple, we are celebrating Diwali with several resources you can use on Purple Mash. We are celebrating light and colour and invite your class to be creative and get involved.

Each month we will be highlighting a #MashoftheMonth. This will focus on a tool or application within Purple Mash and how it can be used within the classroom to support learning across the curriculum. During the month if you share how you have used #MashoftheMonth you will then be entered into a draw to win a 2Simple Goody bag!

Recycle Week with Purple Mash

Nov. 2, 2020

This year National Recycle Week runs from 9th - 15th November. Planet Ark founded the campaign in November 1996 to bring a national focus to the environmental benefits of recycling. This established and highly regarded campaign continues to educate and stimulate behaviour change, by:

  • Promoting kerbside, industrial and community recycling initiatives
  • Giving people the tools to minimise waste and manage material resources responsibly at home, work and school.

At 2Simple, we have collected a range of activities on Purple Mash, that you can use in class to encourage everyone to recycle.
