Evidence Me (formerly 2Build a Profile (2BAP) is our award-winning assessment, observation and reporting app. It shows the impact of children’s learning by capturing learners’ experiences, monitoring their development and creating reports to share their progress. The app has been thoughtfully created by teachers, for teachers and ensures all the essential features required have been included.

Evidence Me has a range of updated features that make it even easier for teachers to securely build individual portfolios in just a few clicks.

Face blurring and Privacy

Security, privacy and data protection are at the very core of Evidence Me. Face blurring has been added to the functionality of the app which means that pictures can be taken of the whole class and uploaded and shared with other pupils faces blurred out quickly and easily. The app also makes use of very strong security features to ensure that all data is safe, including pin codes and industry standard encryption.  We encourage users to put a pin code on their device and the app can be pin coded as well.  The data is held securely in the app and our data centres within the UK.  If a device is lost or stolen the app can be remotely deactivated.

Reduce teacher workload 
Gone are the days of Post-It Notes, ring binders and scrapbooks for evidencing learning. Evidence Me has been designed to significantly reduce workload for teachers. You can easily take a photo, a video, or write a note and it will instantly upload your observation to the app whilst on the go, with or without WiFi. With Evidence Me, teachers will be able to consistently create quality formative assessments whilst simultaneously saving themselves hours of record-keeping time.

Auto suggesting of next step objectives
Auto suggesting of objectives is a great time-saving feature, contained within Evidence Me. When setting up, you can upload your preferred curriculum framework, or even upload a custom framework. Once an observation has been captured, the auto-suggesting tool will recommend the objectives and next step objectives based on the teacher’s notes from the observation.

Reporting and assessment 
Our reporting has been designed to be as effortless as possible because we know how time-consuming reporting can be.  Staff can gain an instant overview of their curriculum coverage and generate a variety of reports; using in-app assessment data teachers can track, evidence and support their class's learning.

The reports include an Individual Framework Progress and Coverage Report (providing a projection showing how far through the framework the learners will progress by a certain future date), a Flightpath Report (showing how well learners are progressing through the framework objectives), a Teach Next Report, (showing which objectives currently have the least coverage) Learner observation, (a pdf containing your learners’ observations) Coverage Tracker( tracking the number of times each learner has covered each objective and identification of gaps) and an EY Cohort Assessment Report (illustrating how closely groups of learners are matching age expectations). Completed reports are stored not only on the app but on the websuite too, enabling teachers to have the ability to collate past reports for as long as their license is active. To make reporting and assessments even better, these can be easily exported in a range of different formats.

Dedicated parent app
Our new dedicated parent app can be used for two-way communication between parents and teachers to share information in real-time. Teachers retain control over what is shared with the parents, and any shared observations are sent instantly to the parent app. Parents can comment on the observation and create their own by adding media and notes, before sending this back to the teacher to view without the need for emails or logging onto the websuite. It’s an excellent and efficient way for parents to be updated on their child’s progress and learning journey.
