It’s that wonderful time of the year, everyone is getting excited and you’re all working so hard for Christmas with your children. Why not share all this amazing work with parents! With the Parent Share features in Evidence Me it couldn’t be easier.

Share all the wonderful cards and gifts that you have been making and what about that great nativity play you’ve all worked so hard at. Wouldn’t it be great to bring all that activity home to parents and carers? Here’s how you can do just that in a few simple steps:

1. Take pictures and videos of the festive work that you are doing with your children
2. Create observations and include your media
3. Hit that Parent Share button

The best way to share your school nativity performances

Observations are great for sharing shorter videos but if you want to share longer ones, like your nativity play, here are some simple steps to do this effectively.

1. Capture a video of your performance
2. Upload this to a school media storage area (e.g. your school website Google Drive or YouTube channel)
3. Create your observation(s) in the Web app
4. In the “Documents and Links” area use the “Attach link” button to add the full url link to your video (e.g. https://www.myschoolwebsite.com/nativity.mpg) and don’t forget to add a description before clicking on the “attach link” button
5. Parent share your observations so that parents can watch your production.

This is the best way to share longer videos with parents as it will give them the best experience.
