Festive Card Competition 2020 - Winners and Runners-Up

The global Festive Card Competition ran from 2nd November to 23rd November and gave children the chance to design the official 2Simple festive card on any festive theme they wanted. Over 18,200 entries were received from schools worldwide.

Mash of the Month - December

Each month we will be highlighting a #MashoftheMonth. This will focus on a tool or application within Purple Mash and how it can be used within the classroom to support learning across the curriculum. During the month, if you share how you have used #MashoftheMonth, you will then be entered into a draw to win a 2Simple Goody bag!

Computer Science Week with Python in Pieces

Computer Science Education Week is held annually in recognition of the birthday of computing pioneer Admiral Grace Murray Hooper; this year the week runs from December 7-13. Python in Pieces would be a perfect resource to use for #HourOfCode. Transition your students from block-based coding to Python with guided lessons, open-ended activities and the ability to translate block-code to Python in both directions.
