2Simple are proud to sponsor the first ever #EduFootyAid football match and hope it will become a much anticipated annual fixture. It has been set up by the Striker Boy campaign; run in memory of former primary school teacher Jonny Zucker, who sadly took his own life in 2016. The event will raise a minimum of £2,000 for Mind , the country’s leading mental health charity.
As well as the match there will be plenty of other activities such as fairground stalls, raffles, food and drink. overall making it a lovely day out for the family. We would like you to be a part of this joyful free event which is raising money for an important cause.
The event will be taking place on Saturday the 6th of October 2018, 12- 5pm with kick off at 2pm in Lanchester E.P. Primary School, 10 Front St, Lanchester, Durham, DH7 0HU.

2Simple teamed up with Jonny in 2013 to launch an online library of original fiction books called Serial Mash which have been a huge success with reluctant readers at KS1 and KS2.
We’re still looking for players to play on the day and for future matches. Any information regarding that can be found on the #EdufootyAid website. If you wish to donate any money to Mind and their cause then please click here.
