Dec. 3, 2020
The global Festive Card Competition ran from 2nd November to 23rd November and gave children the chance to design the official 2Simple festive card on any festive theme they wanted and over 18,200 entries were received from schools worldwide.
The competition allowed children across the world to submit their card summarising what the festive period meant to them using the award-winning platform, Purple Mash by 2Simple. Children could enter one of three categories: Under 5s, under 8s and under 12s.
We were overjoyed to see the range of creative talent and skill demonstrated by all the entering pupils and it was extremely hard to whittle the entries down.
We had a lot of deliberation over the winners but eventually came to a decision...
Congratulations to Molly from Great and Little Shelford CofE (Aided) Primary representing the Under 5s, Ella from St James' Church of England Primary School taking the win for the Under 8s and Sulaiman from Warren Junior School winning the Under 12s. Each card represented what the festive period meant to themselves.
Each winner won printed copies of their card, and their card turned into an e-card so their creations can be shared far and wide. They also received a giftbag full of 2Simple merchandise.
Sulaiman said, "I was excited to enter the Purple Mash competition because I love art and design. I chose my design as I thought everyone loves a snowman and presents. When I found out I had won I was so happy. I love working on Purple Mash."
