Imagine coming back from holiday to not only find your home tidy, but actually better than when you left!
Well that's actually what you've got with the Serial Mash makeover.
As well a brand new layout for the home screen that makes it even easier to find the books and resources you want, we've also made the Teachers Section quicker to access AND added a new strand of books.
All this is absolutely free for existing subscribers and hasn't changed the price for newcomers, so if you're not already a Serial Mash reader - now's the time to get on board!
On top of all this, two new serialised books have been released for children and two more added to the teacher's library for next term... jeez-louise it's been a busy summer!
Let's take a look at some of the changes...
There are now so many books in the Serial Mash library that we've put them into neat categories. We've also removed the visibility of age bands for children so they don't feel self-conscious about reading levels, teachers can still view age bands in the Teachers Section.
You can now access the Teachers Section directly from the Serial Mash home screen, saving teachers valuable time. To enjoy this feature, you'll need to have individual logins setup. Setting up logins is easier than ever, because, you guessed it, we've developed a brand new login manager over the summer.
The Fire Bolts range is written to engage low ability readers aged 9 to 11. Nothing puts a struggling reader off faster than being made to read books aimed at much younger children, Fire Bolts stops that happening. The first series in the new range is the '5-a-Side' tetralogy which follows the epic highs and lows of the West Green Rovers.
It's a good thing that with Serial Mash you never have to worry about having enough copies of the book for everyone, because this term's releases are going to be in hot demand.
I don't want to give too much away but James King of England (for 7-9yrs) has an absolutely legendary illustrator who's likely to Beano'en to most of you, and there's only word to describe Film Scene (9-11yrs)... blockbuster.
|When James King hears about a special competition he's very eager to enter. If he wins, James King will become King James!||After an audition for a Hollywood film Tim finds himself transported to a mysterious world where all sorts of creatures are out to destroy him.|
