Striver and Sport Premium - Free Pack Download

At the start of this academic year, the government issued new guidance relating to the Sport Premium grant, which allocates funding to primary schools in England to improve the quality of physical education (PE) and sport offered to pupils.

The list of spending areas that are eligible to be covered by this grant has been clarified further to ensure schools are spending it in the correct way. Funding must be spent on making sustainable PE improvements in the following 5 areas:

• Engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity
• Profile of PE and sport is raised across the school as a tool for whole-school improvement
• Increased confidence, knowledge and skills of all staff in teaching PE and sport
• Broader experience of a range of sports and activities offered to all pupils
• Increased participation in competitive sport

Striver meets the refined government criteria, enabling you to upskill staff and giving them access to a range of resources to enhance PE and wellbeing offerings across the school in a simple and effective manner, at a cost of less than 2% of a school’s annual Sport Premium budget.
