The National Thank a Teacher Day campaign is led by the Teaching Awards Trust, in partnership with the DfE and they are encouraging as many people as possible to share their message of thanks,
We know the amazing work that teachers do, particularly at this time, supporting the children of key workers in school, during both term time and over the holidays, and have loved seeing all the work that has been completed at home that you have shared with us as part of the remote learning activities. As well as ensuring that children have a range of teaching and learning opportunities, they are also ensuring that their school communities are supported both emotionally and pastorally.
Children can thank their teachers by either awarding them a special Thank You Teacher Certificate or by sending them a card to say thank you! Children can post their work on our virtual #thanksteachers display board and we will be sharing a selection of these on the day on our social media platforms.
