We know you don’t have time to search our site for new and exciting resources, so each month we’re putting together a blog to show you the very best of what’s new across the 2Simple range.
Early Years teachers celebrate: the fantastic Builders Tray has been added to Mini Mash, giving children an online space to explore and create small worlds.
With Builders Tray, children can create 'small world' scenes using digital items such as animals, rocks, shapes, numbers and so much more. They can even add a splodge of gooey custard, a squirt of squishy shaving foam, or a splash of water!
It's a tray-riffic space where children can explore, develop skills and apply and combine their learning.
Builders Tray is easy to use and also comes with ready-made activities to save you even more time:
Read our blog to see videos of Builders Tray in action, and to find out more about what it can do!
The 2Simple team have continued to work hard, updating tools and creating new resources for computing:
Bee Hive is one of the two new 2Code activities that has been added to Purple Mash. With Bee Hive, students can code their own bee colony using cloning and hotspots.
Fun with Fish 2 is similar to the original Fun with Fish, but for children working at a higher level in computing. In Fun with Fish 2, students can create a realistic aquarium using positioning and timers.
These new 2Code activities are included in a subscription of Purple Mash, but non-subscribers can give them a go with a free trial.
A new idea for you to try this term is giving datalogging a go! All you'll need is access to 2Graph and a micro:bit... and this video to show you how to do it:
