The countdown is on for #Bett2024 and we can't wait to be there!

It's always a fantastic few days getting to meet our community in person so we hope you'll come along to stand SH21 and say hello! Whether you've already registered or would like to find out more, here's our handy summary of what you can expect from the show and our stand this year.

What is Bett?

Bett is the biggest Education Technology exhibition in the world and it’s taking place at Excel London from 24th - 26th January 2024. It's a place for educators to network, engage in inspiring content and find solution providers.

Mash it up

Come along to our stand and find out all about the recent developments in Purple Mash, Serial Mash and Mini Mash.

There’ll be Master Mashers on the stand - teachers who are experts in using The Mash Suite in their schools. Have a chat and find out how they make the most of the Computing Scheme of Work or how they use Purple Mash across the school.

You will also be able to view all our books in Serial Mash and see the updated platform in action alongside new content from DK Learning. Experts will also be on hand to answer any questions about how to set books, and activities and use the data in Serial Mash.

Mash Masterclasses

There'll be lots of our team members on stand, ready to demonstrate our products and how they can help you in school. This includes masterclasses on particular areas of Purple Mash, its tools or areas of the curriculum.

Competitions

Your students will be able to join in with some exciting and creative competitions while on the stand, including:

• The Mashcot Design Competition, where children can design the new Purple Mash mascot, which will be featured on the website and our promotional materials... plus they'll have a plush toy made from their design!
• The 2024 Games Design Competition, where children will be tasked with designing a game based on the theme 'Around the World'. Children can win some fantastic prizes, as well as the chance to present their game at Amazon HQ.

New projects

Bett is also the perfect time to find out about new projects from the team behind 2Simple, including:

• 2econd Chance: a not-for-profit computer recycling scheme which also offers free training programmes for NEET adults.
• Purple Mash Publishing: beautiful print books for reading at school or at home, supported by teaching resources. You'll be able to find out more about their exciting Top 10s project!

#TeachMeet2024

There will be two TeachMeets happening at Bett on Thursday 25th January. A Teachmeet is an organised but informal meeting for teachers to share good practices, practical innovations, and personal insights in teaching.

We can't wait to see you at the TeachMeet and listening to fantastic speakers.
