Design our front cover for the Book of Hope Competition.

Many thanks to all those schools who entered our Book of Hope writing competition, we are now in the process of going through all the entries and reading them.

To go with all the brilliant poems, letters and writing about hope we need an amazing image for the front cover! Children can use 2Paint or 2Paint a Picture to create the front cover which should show what hope means to them. This could be sunshine, flowers, or a rainbow, whatever captures hope to them.

Entries can be submitted to the following Display boards depending on their age:

Under 9s

The winning entries will feature on our front cover and within our Book of Hope which will be available on Serial Mash and Purple Mash.

Competition terms and conditions

  • The competition is open until May 14th closing at 5pm BST.
  • To enter the competition, children must upload their design to the Display board for their age. Any entries submitted to the display board containing personal details will not be approved.
  • As it is a collection of multiple reflections, winners will be able to view their contribution via Serial Mash.
  • There will be one winner selected for the front cover. Other entries will be selected to feature throughout the book.
  • 5 schools that are selected to be in the book will be drawn randomly to receive a £50 voucher (or the equivalent for your country's currency) off their next Serial Mash subscription or towards their first subscription.
  • Winners will be contacted via email to the School's email address.
