Under the new Ofsted framework schools can be inspected in PE and are required to show the same rigour and standards that would be applied to any other subject. This includes having a school-wide assessment system in place, something which very few schools currently have. The situation is made even more complicated by the fact that many schools use external coaches and these lessons also need to form part of any judgements, but it’s rarely something offered by coaches.
If this sounds like you then there’s no need to worry because Striver makes school-wide assessment a breeze. It can be done during lesson time, so it doesn’t add anything extra onto workload and coaches can submit judgements too.
Striver is an online platform that makes it easy to plan, teach and assess PE. Our integrated assessment system is just one of the many reasons primary schools love Striver. But there’s no need to take our word for it because you can try it for yourself for free.
As well as as a free 14-day trial, one of our trained account managers will give you an online assessment and reporting tutorial so you hit the ground running. Alternatively, if you’re busy and don’t have time to try it out yourself we can visit your school and do a free comprehensive demonstration for the whole team.
