Heritage Day is celebrated in South Africa every year on the 24th September. It is a public holiday and people are encouraged to celebrate their culture and diversity.

To further support the delivery in school, enhance the impact of lessons and reduce teacher workload, we have updated all lesson plans, included editable downloadable slideshows for every unit, included supporting videos for teachers, updated our knowledge organisers and included 21 brand new short videos explaining key computing terminology, all to ensure that you can teach computing with confidence.

Women's Day forms part of South Africa's Women's Month and falls on the 9th August each year, commemorating more than 20 000 women who marched to the Union Buildings on 9 August 1956 in protest against the extension of Pass Laws to women.
