📸 Share children's festive creations with Parents

1. Take pictures and videos of the festive work that you are doing with your children
2. Create observations and include your media
3. Hit the "Parent Share" button

🎥 Share your school Nativity performances

Observations are great for sharing shorter videos but if you want to share longer ones, like your nativity play, here are some simple steps to do this effectively.

1. Capture a video of your performance (we recommend capturing your videos in a lower resolution to get the maximum length but minimum size as videos cannot exceed 500MB)
2. Upload this to a school media storage area (e.g. your school website, Google Drive or YouTube channel)
3. Create your observation(s) in the Web app
4. In the “Documents and Links” area use the “Attach link” button to add the full URL link to your video (e.g. https://www.myschoolwebsite.com/nativity.mpg) and don’t forget to add a description before clicking on the “attach link” button
5. "Parent Share" your observations so that parents can watch your production

This is the best way to share longer videos with parents and will give them the best experience.

Communicating with Parents over the school holiday

📰 Family News

The "Family News" feature allows you to send updates on things that are happening in school, such as reminders, events, notices and other important information.

As well as adding photos, videos and notes, you can add documents such as posters and web links.

🗣️NEW Evidence Me Chat

The new Evidence Me Chat module allows you to send individual messages to parents, or group broadcasts. This can be great for messages about key dates, homework reminders, PE day changes etc. Users are notified by email when they have a new chat.

By default, the chat module will be OFF for all classes. See here how you can activate it.
