The Purple Mash Festive Card Competition gave children the chance to design the official 2Simple festive card on any festive theme they wanted. This year, the Jewish holiday Hanukkah, or Chanukah, runs from Wednesday 25th December to Thursday 2nd January. Here at 2Simple, we're celebrating Chanukah using Purple Mash and have several resources for you to use in your classrooms to celebrate this holiday.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! At this time schools across the country are preparing for the Christmas nativity, searching for the missing wise man, wondering how on earth they are going to get the glitter out of the carpet, hoping that the staff room is full of chocolate treats and working out which Christmas card delivered into the post box needs to get to which child.
