This will focus on a tool or application within Purple Mash and how it can be used within the classroom to support learning across the curriculum. World Mental Health Day - 10th October

The World Health Organisation recognizes World Mental Health day on 10th October every year. This years theme set by the World Federation for Mental Health is mental health for all. This blog outlines the ways that schools and teachers can mark World Mental Health Day in schools.

The Big Draw Festival - 2020

The Big Draw Festival is a worldwide celebration of drawing, organised by The Big Draw charity, this event is now in its 20th year. The promotion of the universal language of drawing as a tool for learning, expression and invention are at the heart of the festival. Starting in October, the theme this year is 'The Big Green Draw - A Climate of Change.'

National Nutrition Week 11th - 17th October 2020

Nutrition Australia's Tryfor5 campaign during National Nutrition Week this October aims to encourage Australians to increase their vegetable consumption to the recommended five serves per day. Despite the latest studies and recurring healthy eating messages only 4% of Australians are eating enough vegetables each day. The average person eats only half as much as they should, which is the inspiration behind Tryfor5.
